As manufacturing equipment becomes more advanced and complex, trained and skilled technicians are needed. As an industrial mechanic, you may install, test, maintain, and repair mechanical systems such as conveying systems, production machinery, and packaging equipment. Your job will be to keep the manufacturing equipment running smoothly in order to ensure continuous operations.

Building on the Industrial Mechanical Technician One-Year Certificate program, this coursework will provide an introduction to the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial electrical components, welding technologies, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and other mechanical systems, making you job-ready as an electrical maintenance technician doing journeyman-level work.
