We understand that this year is not what you expected, and that your plans may be changing. As a Lorain County high school 2020 graduate, we are here to help by offering programs and support so you can keep moving forward with your academic and career plans.
Class of 2020 Spring Support
If you are a member of Lorain County’s class of 2020 and did not attend LCCC in the fall, you are eligible for $500 in additional support towards your spring semester at LCCC.This is not need-based support, and is available in addition to other scholarships and financial aid you may receive. You can use these funds to support your education through computer purchase, enhanced internet services, food, transportation and other needs during this time of alternative course delivery due to LCCC’s pandemic response.
These funds are not need- or income-based, though eligible students are asked to complete a 2020-2021 FAFSA to verify eligibility to receive federal financial aid.
We can provide these funds directly to you, or you can select to apply them to your fall and spring tuition and fees. Learn more about the Class of 2020 Support.
Scholarships for 2020 Graduates
If you received a scholarship offer from LCCC for fall semester, you can still accept your scholarship! If you lost the paper copy of your agreement, don’t worry. You can use one of the links below to accept your scholarship:
Complete Your FAFSA
LCCC’s Trustee, Presidential, and DIA scholarships are all “last dollar” awards, meaning recipients must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as part of the agreement. If you haven’t filed your FAFSA, please do so ASAP!
Again, congratulations on your graduation. We know the end of your high school school career was much different than any of us thought it would be. Please don’t hesitate to reach out should you have any additional questions!
