Class of 2021 – Your Summer is FREE

Ready to make the most of your summer?

Take up to 9 credits for FREE this summer and get ahead. This special offer is designed to commemorate your high school graduation during an extremely difficult year. We are proud of you and want to keep moving your forward toward your academic goals. High school Class of 2021 graduates from Lorain County high schools or a CCP/CIE-partner school with LCCC are eligible for this program.


Why Summer Classes?

Students who enroll in summer classes are three times more likely to graduate. We offer more than 100 general education courses that can help you get ahead – even if you are planning to attend another college or university because our courses will transfer. And most of our courses are offered online so you can learn from anywhere.

Is there anything I need to do to take advantage of my free summer at LCCC?

If you intend to transfer credits earned this summer to a university, make sure to check with your destination university on course selection and the credit transfer process.  

You have plenty going on as a Class of 2021 grad, so we have made this as simple as possible. Once you have applied to LCCC, met with your advisor, and have registered for summer courses, just click the Class of 2021 Free Summer form link in the email you receive from the Registrar’s Office to let us know how you would like these funds applied. If you received a scholarship offer from LCCC for fall semester, you can still accept your scholarship!  If you lost the paper copy of your agreement, don’t worry. You can use one of the links below to accept your scholarship:

Complete Your FAFSA

LCCC’s Trustee, Presidential, and DIA scholarships are all “last dollar” awards, meaning recipients must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as part of the agreement. If you haven’t filed your FAFSA, please do so ASAP!
