Welcome Students

We’re Glad You’re Here!

As you begin the semester, either as a new or returning LCCC student, we are here to support you every step of the way.  Please review the information below for answers to some of the questions you may have.

How do I find my classes?

Be sure to check your Class Schedule in MyCampus or using the MyCampus Mobile App for the most current room number assignments.

Check out the campus map or find one of our Campus Ambassadors located in all buildings throughout campus if you need help finding your classroom. Ambassadors are wearing green T-Shirts and are ready to answer your questions and help you find your way.

If you need help with accessibility, please contact Accessibility Services.

How do I adjust my class schedule?

Our Enrollment Services team on the first floor of the Bass Library can help you with adjustments to your class schedule after the semester begins. (These changes can’t be completed in MyCampus after the semester begins.)

What’s happening on campus?

If you’re looking for a chance to get involved, Welcome Week at LCCC is the place to start. College Center will be filled with representatives from LCCC’s student clubs and organizations and you’ll have a chance to meet your Student Senators.

Welcome week will feature lots of activities and end with the All-Campus Picnic on Friday.

Visit the Event Calendar for a list of everything happening at LCCC.

Where can I eat on campus?

Starting college is hard work! If you’re looking for a spot to sit down and refuel, LCCC has plenty of dining options.

Check out the Campus Dining page for dining locations, menus and hours.

If you need food assistance, please stop by Commodore Cupboard.

What if I have a personal problem and I need help?

We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. And sometimes, when you least expect it, something happens that could derail all of the hard work you have put into achieving your goals. Our Advocacy and Resource Center (ARC) can help you with advice, resources and connections to get you back on track.

Where can I find a place to study?

Our campus is filled with lounges and study spaces in every building. Be sure to check out our most popular study and gathering spaces in iLoft and the Bass Library. These spaces provide plenty of computer stations and reservable private study rooms.

We also have plenty of computer labs across campus. Find out more about computer lab locations, hours and available software.

Don’t forget about free tutoring!

Need a little extra help with your classes? Help is on the way! Free tutoring is available to all LCCC students. The Academic Support Center provides free tutoring in the Tutoring Center in College Center and in the Math Studio located in the Physical Science building.

Visit the Academic Support Center page to learn more.

Office 365 and OneDrive- It’s FREE to all LCCC students!

College students have lots of computer files. You’re going to need a place to store them. We’ve got you covered! To help you manage your coursework and related data, all LCCC students have access to download Office 365 – including 1 TB of cloud-based data storage in OneDrive.
