Academic Advising and Counseling
Need help choosing the health-care career that’s best for you? Schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor or Counselor.
An academic advising team will work closely with you by explaining the pre-admission worksheets and entrance requirements, in addition to assisting with the clinical admission process. Career and Academic Advisement Professionals see students on a walk-in basis and are located in LC 158.

Counselors are specialists in the Health and Wellness Pathway and can assist students with academic, career, and personal counseling, including graduation audits, providing transfer information, etc. Counselors work on an appointment basis. To schedule a meeting, call 440.366.4033 or go to LC 131.

Each program in the Health and Wellness Pathway has specific pre-admission requirements. You must complete an LCCC Application for Admission and the Allied Health Application procedure. Be sure to review the Allied Health & Nursing Admission Requirements for details about the admission process and the requirements for your particular specialty.
LCCC does not establish “wait lists” for programs. Students are accepted for program admission based on a variety of criteria, including assessment-test scores and the students’ completion of program requirements.
