Library and eLearning Division

Library Assistant (part-time)

 

Reporting to the Dean, Library and eLearning, the Library Assistant is responsible for but not limited to: providing excellent customer service at each of the Library’s two circulation desks; creating Library/LCCC College ID cards by operating ID card equipment; checking library materials out/in and shelving library materials; and other circulation duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent; excellent customer service and communication skills in order to service the needs of a diverse population; and technical and computer skills. Must be available to work day, evening and weekend hours (15-20 hours per week during the semesters).

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a library setting; and experience with the Sierra and SirsiDynix integrated Library systems.

Minimum hourly rate: $13.50

Payroll Accountant (part-time)

Office of the Controller

Under the direction of the Controller, the Part-Time Payroll Accountant performs duties associated with the creation, maintenance and the update of payroll data for all college personnel within the college’s computerized payroll system. This position requires data entry, filing, and recording of data for payroll purposes in a fast paced environment. Additional duties include auditing payroll deductions, preparation of various employment related forms, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate with working knowledge of accounting principles; additional accounting training at the college level preferred. Excellent data entry and keyboarding skills and the ability to operate a calculator required. Must be proficient with Word and Excel applications. Position requires good oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Hourly Rate: $15.29

Food Service Associate

The Food Services Associate is responsible for the successful management, production and implementation of food service throughout campus. The Food Service Associate works in various capacities within the Food Service system and performs multiple functions as required on a daily basis. 

Required qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent in education and 3-4 years direct experience in food service required. 

Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service technology and ability to take and follow directions are preferred. 

Minimum Hourly Rate: $10.67

Food Service Assistant

The Food Services Assistant, is responsible for the implementation of food services in assigned areas throughout campus including Starbucks. Duties include setting up catering stations, operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, prepare food under direction, and additional duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Required qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent in education and 2-3 years direct experience in food service required.

Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service principles and ability to take and follow directions are preferred.

Minimum Hourly Rate: $9.66
