Part-time Food Service Technician

The Food Service Technician is responsible for the successful implementation of food service in assigned areas throughout campus.  The Food Service Technician works in various capacities within the food service operation and performs such tasks that are needed during assigned work hours.  The incumbent must maintain a high degree of sanitation and personal hygiene, receives direction as appropriate from the Food Services Associate or Food Services Coordinator.

Required qualifications:  High School graduate or equivalent in education and one year direct experience in food service. Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service principles and ability to take and follow direction.

Minimum Hourly Rate:  $9.37

Part-time Event Assistant

Reporting to the Spitzer Conference Center Event Facilitator, the Event Assistant performs the following but is not limited to: room set-up; equipment transport; furniture moving/arranging; delivery & placement of meeting supplies; clean-up and removal of trash; as well as other assigned tasks in support of the Conference Center operations.  The Event Assistant executes assigned tasks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner under close supervision of the Event Facilitator.

Required qualifications:  High School graduate or equivalent in learning, ability to lift 75lbs, must be able to follow direction and work well with others.  Attention to detail and outstanding customer service are necessary.

Preferred qualifications:  Previous event facilitation experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office software are preferred.

Minimum Hourly Rate:  $10.18

Part-time Food Service Technician

The Food Service Technician is responsible for the successful implementation of food service in assigned areas throughout campus.  The Food Service Technician works in various capacities within the food service operation and performs such tasks that are needed during assigned work hours.  The incumbent must maintain a high degree of sanitation and personal hygiene, receives direction as appropriate from the Food Services Associate or Food Services Coordinator.

Food Service Associate

The Food Services Associate is responsible for the successful management, production and implementation of food service throughout campus. The Food Service Associate works in various capacities within the Food Service system and performs multiple functions as required on a daily basis. 

Required qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent in education and 3-4 years direct experience in food service required. 

Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service technology and ability to take and follow directions are preferred. 

Minimum Hourly Rate: $11.06

Food Service Assistant

The Food Services Assistant, is responsible for the implementation of food services in assigned areas throughout campus including Starbucks.  Duties include setting up catering stations, operating and cleaning kitchen equipment, prepare food under direction, and additional duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Required qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent in education and 2-3 years direct experience in food service required.

Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral communication skills, demonstrated knowledge of food service principles and ability to take and follow directions are preferred.
