Employment & Financial Aid

F-1 visa students are limited to on-campus employment opportunities; they may not work off-campus. Students must make their own applications for employment and may earn $3,000.00 – $4,000.00 U.S annually, depending on the rate of pay and the number of hours worked. Some students may be eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), a work-experience program tied to the student’s major area of study. LCCC’s Career Services office assists students with off-campus, part-time employment opportunities for a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Lorain County Community College does not provide scholarships or financial assistance for international students.
