If you’re interested in criminal justice, have a knack for investigations, and want to work in the white-collar business world, the one-year Business Forensics Investigations certificate may be perfect for you. It brings together three professional areas – accounting, digital forensics, and criminal justice. Classes cover forensic accounting, evidence collection, data recovery tools, proper criminal investigation practices, and preparation for litigation.

Coursework in this certificate program counts toward the Associate of Applied Science in Computer Engineering Technology – Forensics Accounting Investigations Major. Certification as a Fraud Examiner or as a Certified Forensic Accountant will require a Bachelor degree, which can be obtained through the LCCC University Partnership program or by transferring credits to another of Ohio’s four-year institutions.
