Through the Digital Forensics for Law Enforcement one-year certificate, you’ll gain a thorough background in cyber-crime and be prepared to work forensic investigations of computers, networks, digital devices, cyberspace, and associated equipment. You’ll get hands-on training in evidence collection, data recovery tools, and proper investigative practices.

This program is designed to meet the needs of new students as well as individuals already employed as criminal justice or peace officers. Typical job titles for certificate-holders include computer/digital forensics examiner, computer systems specialist, and cybercrime specialist. The program’s coursework can also be used toward the requirements for an Associate Degree in Police Science.
