A+ Certification
The field of computer hardware and networking technologies continues to grow. Proficient and certified candidates are in high demand, and companies of all sizes in and all industries are hiring people to help with building and maintaining personal computers.
An A+ certification is widely recognized as demonstrating expert knowledge in installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing desktop systems. It prepares you to enter the world of information technology at a good pay rate, and you can easily build upon the core knowledge and competencies you gain through further education at LCCC and beyond.
The A+ certification program requires only two courses:
CMNW 101 – A+ CERTIFICATION PREPARATION I
CMNW 201 – A+ CERTIFICATION PREP II
Both of these courses apply toward the Information Systems Support One-Year Certificate and the Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Maintenance and Networking major.
