Building on the skills learned in the related short-term certificate program, this one-year certificate program delves deeper into the knowledge and practical skills required to install, upgrade, and maintain personal computer systems and networks. Along with the A+ Certification preparation courses (required for A+ Certification) and computer diagnostics and repair courses, you’ll get an introduction to technical math and electrical circuitry.

This coursework will prepare you for employment in the areas of installation, upgrading, and maintaining personal computer systems and networks. In addition, it can serve as a stepping stone to the Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Maintenance and Networking major.
