Associate of Applied Business in Computer Information Systems – Mobile Device Application Development
Smartphones, tablets, and wearable mobile devices are everywhere. In fact, their use is starting to overtake the use of desktop computers, especially among younger generations. This program starts with the short-term Mobile Device Application Development certificate, builds to the one-year certificate and culminates with an Associate Degree in this fast-growing field.
You’ll learn to design and develop applications for modern mobile computing platforms including the iPhone/iPad and Android phones and tablets. You’ll also learn to write web-based applications specifically targeted at mobile devices. In order to provide you with a well-rounded information technology education, additional topics will include database design, computer networking, and systems design. Of course, general education courses in composition, communications, and mathematics ensure that you’re ready for the professional world.
