Student Profile – Allyssa Earl
Allyssa Earl, Student Worker, 21, Lorain: Allyssa started taking classes at LCCC Lorain Learning Center and then transitioned to classes at the LCCC Community Learning Center at Lorain High School as a member of the SAIL program. “If you live in the community and you can’t get all the way to Elyria, it’s very convenient that there are two centers in Lorain,” she says. She has applied to the University Partnership psychology program with Cleveland State and is almost done earning her associate degree. One day she plans to have her own counseling practice. “I really like to help people. Doing anything to make it easier for other people makes me happy,” she says.
