About the University Partnership Ridge Campus

The University Partnership Ridge Campus (UPRC) of LCCC provides local residents with what they need to succeed in the 21st century – easy access, high quality, affordable associate and bachelor degrees.  UPRC is conveniently located in North Ridgeville on Lorain Road adjacent to the Interstate 480 east entrance ramp and provides access to residents in North Ridgeville, Avon, Eaton Township, Olmsted Township, Columbia Station, North Olmsted and Westlake.

Comprehensive student services, including admissions, course registration, the COMPASS Assessment test are available at the University Partnership Ridge Campus.  Academic advising and financial aid specialists are available by appointment.

A bank of computers are available in the lobby during our regular office hours for students, faculty, staff and  community use.  Both Windows and Apple computers are available.

 

Academic Advising

Academic advising is available by appointment at UPRC.  Online scheduling is now available for Academic Advising at UPRC through Acuity.  You can also call (440) 366-4800 to schedule an advising appointment.

 

Books and Supplies

Commodore Books and More, LCCC’s campus bookstore, has everything you will need to start your classes.  The Ridge Campus offers a dropship option where online orders can be delivered to the Ridge Campus at no additional charge.  Click here for information on textbook and supply dropship to UPRC.

 

College Credit Plus Information Session

The LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus will host a information session on the College Credit Plus (formerly PSEO) program on Monday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m.  Learn how students entering grades 7-12 can earn dual credit for high school and college for free.

 

Fingerprinting and Background Checks

Free Income Tax Preparation Program Expanded

UPRC is pleased to host the free income tax preparation program, sponsored by The United Way of Greater Lorain County and the Lorain County Free Tax Prep Coalition.  This year, services have been expanded to two days each week, but tax preparation services will be available by appointment only.  All appointments are booked through the United Way.  Services will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3-7 p.m. through April 18.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (800) 275-6106.

 

Tutoring Services

Walk-in tutoring is available at the University Partnership Ridge Campus in Computer Information Systems and Math during the Fall and Spring semesters.

For additional tutoring needs, please contact the Academic Support Center at the LCCC Campus in Elyria at (440) 366-4057.  It may be possible for tutoring to be arranged at the University Partnership Ridge Campus.

 

Computer Science and Engineering Partnership at UPRC

The University of Toledo’s Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) degree is one of the flagship programs at the University Partnership Ridge Campus.  The University of Toledo’s College of Engineering was recently ranked as one of the top four engineering programs in the state of Ohio by the Princeton Review.  Graduates of the CSE program find careers in the aerospace, automotive, chemical, communication, electronics, manufacturing and processing industries as well as in government and education.  Computer engineers design both the hardware and software for automotive test equipment, biomedical instrumentation, computer networking, computer-aided design systems, computer vision systems, robotics and more.

Academic Programs at the Ridge Campus

UPRC includes a Patient Simulation Learning Center for Allied Health and Nursing programs, including the Accelerated Paramedic Program.  Other programs offered at the UPRC include business and IT certificates and degrees, the digital forensics and computer application integration specialist programs.

UPRC is proud to host The University of Toledo’s Computer Science and Engineering Bachelor of Science program, offered through the LCCC University Partnership.

Northeast Ohio Forensic Data Recovery

Northeast Ohio Forensic Data Recovery provides Digital Forensics services to various government agencies and private companies. Its primary service is to investigation into data loss and computer misuse. NEO FDR also provides office and lab space and makes technology available to the students in the Digital Forensics academic programs at LCCC.
