If you love books, enjoy writing, and appreciate the cultural knowledge and human insights that can be gleaned from poetry and prose, the Literature program at LCCC can be an excellent place for you to start your college career or sharpen your skills.

LCCC’s Literature program offers a one-year certificate, but many classes in this program can also apply to other programs in the Liberal & Creative Arts pathway. Of course, you may choose to further your education beyond LCCC through our University Partnership or transfer programs.

Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways

The Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTPs) are designed to provide a clearer path to degree completion for students pursuing associate degrees who plan to transfer to an Ohio public university to complete a bachelor’s degree. The OGTPs also constitute an agreement between public community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements and will be counted and applied toward the bachelor’s degree. Students still must meet all university program admission requirements.
