Music
The musical arts program at LCCC provides the necessary coursework to prepare you for transfer to a college or university where you can earn a bachelor’s degree in music.

Job Opportunities in Music
This rewarding professional field offers a variety of career opportunities including:
- Music education
- Musical performance
- Music therapy
- Music technology
- Music production and management
Our faculty have diverse professional backgrounds – in both teaching and performing – to provide you with a robust learning experience including individualized instruction, as well as large and small ensemble instruction.
At LCCC, we offer an associate of arts degree to prepare you for transfer. In fact, your LCCC credits are guaranteed to transfer to Ohio public colleges and universities. Your academic advisor can help you choose the right courses.
If you’re not a music major, you are welcome to sign up for a class, join our performance groups or take private lessons.
Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathway
The Ohio Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (OGTPs) are designed to provide a clearer path to degree completion for students pursuing associate degrees who plan to transfer to an Ohio public university to complete their bachelor’s degree. The OGTPs also constitute an agreement between public community colleges and universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements and will be counted and applied toward the bachelor’s degree. Students still must meet all university program admission requirements.
