NEO LaunchNET – Lorain County Community College’s (LCCC’s) entrepreneurial-launching, dream-making, business machine – will host Hard Hatted Women of Ohio (HHW Ohio) in celebration of Women’s History Month in our office at PC113 in an event called “Breaking the Glass Ceiling – Reflections from Women in Male-Dominated Fields.” All are invited to participate in this FREE event.
Special guests are:
Tari Rivera – President and Founder, Regency Construction Services, INC. Rivera earned her BS and MBA degrees in Construction Management from the University of Akron
Nicole Smith – Deputy Director of Technology Demonstrations within the Space Technology Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters. Smith earned a BS in aeronautics, mathematics, and statistics from Miami University and a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
Sarah Wilder – Workforce Program Analyst supporting the Workforce and Equitable Access team at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO). Ms. Wider is a NABCEP-certified PV Installation Professional, and a licensed Oregon Limited Renewable Energy Technician. She holds a master’s degree in environmental management from Yale University and a BA in environmental studies from the University of Colorado.
