Canadian “hit-maker” Royal Wood and Cleveland-based “guitar acrobat” Diana Chittester are joining forces to bring an intimate and endearing evening of music at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10 in the Cirigliano Studio Theatre of Stocker Arts Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College.
Juno-nominated singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Royal Wood has established himself as a true musical talent. Since being proclaimed “Songwriter of the Year” by iTunes, Wood has continued to evolve and hone his musical craft – maintaining an unmistakable identity while uncovering and reinventing his sound.
Blending the storytelling roots of folk music with the animation of rock, Diana Chittester’s live performance is brought to life by her signature percussive, multi-part acoustic guitar playing and vulnerable lyrical testimonies. Diana’s solo performance has earned her the opportunity to open for top songwriters including Colin Hay and Kim Richey, as well as an invitation to perform for NYC City Winery’s “Cellar Sessions.”
“This is the first time since our spring tour last year that Royal and I will be joining forces to bring a very intimate and endearing evening of music,” Chittester said.
