The Lorain County Community College Library and the Elyria Public Library North Branch are will present a FRED Talk exploring the “Mourning Practices from the Victorian Era to Today” from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17 on the first floor of Bass Library

Lysa Stanton, president of the Westlake Historical Society, will present.

FRED talks are modeled after TED talks. TED is a nonprofit that spreads ideas through short talks on important topics and developments. The event is free and open to the public.
