Lorain County Community College’s Student Art Show will be held April 11 to May 3 in the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 (awards at 5:30 p.m.).

This annual show features the artwork created by students in the LCCC art programs.

The work featured includes ceramics, sculpture, photography, digital art and animation, graphic design, painting, drawing and printmaking. Student artwork is available for sale.

This year’s awards were selected by Anna Arnold, a mixed media artist and gallery director of the Wasmer Gallery at Ursuline College. The event is free and open to the public.

The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery is open 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and during select Stocker events. For more information, call Nancy Halbrooks, art program coordinator at (440) 366-7114 or
