Lorain County Community College will host a “Transition Evening: From High School to Post Secondary Education” from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9 at the Spitzer Conference Center in rooms 106 and 107.
The event will allow students, families and educators to learn about the differences between high school and college, how to access disability services and explore resources for the college and in the community. Accessibility Services will present a toolkit for success. State and local agencies will also be on site to provide information.
The event is presented by the State Support Team Region 2 and Accessibility Services at LCCC Student and families can register at http://tinyurl.com/CollegeBoundLCCC.
Educators should register through STARS to earn two contact hours.
