Lorain County Community College’s Career Services will hold a “Transitions” workshop from 7-8:30 p.m. on Mondays, June 11 on “Message Mapping: A Key Component of Your Marketing Plan” and June 26 on “Turn Up the Heat – Summer Job Search” in room 118 of the Spitzer Conference Center.

During the June 11 session, Fred Andersky, an experienced business-to-business marketing professional, will introduce “Message Mapping,” a communication technique that job seekers can use to deliver key points and differentiate themselves from other candidates. During the “Turn Up the Heat – Summer Job Search” session, Cyndi McCabe will offer reasons why is it is important to resist the urge to take a break from a search during the summer months. She will also share practical tips for maintaining momentum.

“Transitions” is a free networking group for area business professionals. Meetings feature short seminars on topics relevant to a successful job searches, job leads and support and networking. The group meets the second and fourth Monday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m. Business casual attire is recommended.
