Lorain County Community College’s theatre department will hold auditions for its spring mainstage production, the new comedy “Dead Man’s Cell Phone” by MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and Pulitzer Prize finalist, Sarah Ruhl. The auditions will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 18 and from 7-10 p.m. on Monday, February 19 in the Cirigliano Studio Theatre in Stocker Arts Center.
The production will be directed by Rachael Endrizzi. Callbacks will be held from 7-10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20.
Those who want to audition should prepare one contemporary monologue of two minutes or less, or two contrasting monologues, one minute or less. Attendees may be also be asked to read selections from the script and to improvise with other members of an audition group

There will be no reserved time slots, so those who attend should be prepared to stay for the entire block of time.
Rehearsals will begin Monday, March 5 (with flexibility over Spring Break) and performance dates are Thursday through Saturday, April 26-28. Cast members will rehearse Monday through Thursday evenings, as well as weekend afternoons, for four to five hours.
Scripts are available until February 15 at the reserved desk at the LCCC Bass Library.
