The Lorain County Community College volleyball team is among the Top 25 in the nation in four team statistical categories and two individuals are listed in four individual statistical categories by the NJCAA (Division III). These stats are for matches through October 23. LCCC has one remaining regular season match this Wednesday, October 25 at home versus Edison Community College at 6 p.m.
The Lady Commodores are #13 in DIII with 1,058 kills and #24 with 9.53 kills per set. LCCC is #10 with 1,980 digs and #18 with 17.84 digs per set.
Sophomore outside hitter Kelli Warren (Lorain/Clearview) is #7 among DIII hitters with 356 kills and #15 with 3.39 kills per set.
Sophomore defensive specialist McKenzie Zauner (North Olmstead/North Olmstead) is ranked #6 in the nation with 585 digs and #24 with 5.57 digs per set.
LCCC is 12-17 for the season and has one remaining regular season match this Wednesday, October 25 at home versus Edison Community College at 6 p.m. The team will honor its four sophomore student-athletes.
