Lorain County Community College’s Women’s Link will hold a “Tough Guise 2” video presentation and discussion on “What does it take to be a ‘real man’ in America?” from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21 in room 114 of the Spitzer Conference Center.
This video examines how ideas about masculinity are implicated in school shootings, bullying, sexual violence, homophobia and more. Guests will learn to empower young men and women
to challenge myths about manhood. The video will be followed by a discussion led by Meg McIntyre Manager of Community Education at Genesis House.
Guests who reserve a seat by Wednesday, March 14 will receive a free lunch. To reserve a seat, call Women’s Link at (440) 366-4035. Reservations are not required to attend without receiving lunch.
