Lorain County Community College (LCCC) will host SilverSneakers classes from 10:15-11 a.m. Thursdays, March 4 through April 29 at the LCCC Ewing Physical Education and Fitness Center building, room PE 105.
This class is designed to increase muscle strength and range of movement, and improve activities for daily living. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support and classes can be modified depending on fitness levels.
Guests must register at the LCCC Fitness Center for the SilverSneakers program first and then reserve a spot each week by calling (440) 366-7652.
Attendance is limited to 10 individuals.
SilverSneakers is the nation’s leading wellbeing fitness program designed exclusively for adults 65 and older and is sponsored by Medicare health plans throughout the United States. Members can check eligibility at the SilverSneakers website, with their individual insurance company or at the LCCC Fitness Center.
