Lorain County Community College (LCCC) students who are Pell grant recipients can now receive up to $50 each month towards the cost of broadband internet service.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is a temporary Federal Communications Committee program.
Students may contact the LCCC Advocacy and Resource Center (ARC) at (440) 366-4272 or email@example.com to learn more and check eligibility.
The ARC helps students access food, counseling, financial, and other resources and support including assistance acquiring technology and emergency financial assistance during unexpected challenges. In addition, the Commodore Career Closet provides gently used business attire for students and alumni for job interviews and internships. The team can also provide advice and connections to other local services.
Students may submit a “Request for Help Form” through http://www.lorainccc.edu/arc.
The Pell Grant is the largest federal grant program offered to undergraduates and is designed to assist students from low-income households
