Lorain County Community College’s entrepreneurial-launching business machine will host its annual business competition, Idea Labs, from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 8 in room 122 of The Nord Advanced Technologies Center.
“All LCCC students, regardless of major, are invited to participate in this event,” said NEO LaunchNET program director Janice Lapina. “Students can present a business idea by themselves or as part of a team (up to five people) before a panel of judges for the opportunity to win cash prizes of $1000 (first place), $500 (second place) and $250 (third place).” The winning team will then advance to the Idea Labs regional business competition, where they will have the opportunity to win almost $6000 in cash prizes.
NEO LaunchNET at LCCC opened its doors to students on November 17, 2015. NEO LaunchNET is located on the first floor of The Bass Library/Community Resource Center. NEO LaunchNET is supported by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation.
