Registration is now open for fall non-credit classes at Lorain County Community College including those in manufacturing, information technology, project management, wellness, personal enrichment, and opportunities just for adults 50 and older.

“Most of our classes in fall will be offered virtually so everyone can remain safe, while still enjoying stimulating academic experiences,” said Janice Lapina, director of LCCC Continuing Education.

Many of the instructors teaching the online courses are the same ones who have used their expertise to teach in-person so students will be getting the same quality instruction, she added.

“Our non-credit courses are just one way that LCCC is committed to strengthening the community through learning opportunities that go beyond credit courses,” Lapina said. “They are designed to help community members advance their lives on both professional and personal levels.”

Some upcoming classes for fall include:

• Quickbooks

• Five Legal Traps a Business can Bypass

• Project Management Program

• Manufacturing and Trades

• BLS for the Healthcare Provider (CPR) (in-person)

• Specialty Gardens Workshop Series

• Wellness Sessions (in-person)

• Chords are Key self-paced piano classes

• Music, Love, Hatred & Lust: The Real Beethoven (Center for Lifelong Learning)
