Out-of-State Students
Lorain County Community College is a proud member of SARA. LCCC has been approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. Participation in SARA allows the college to offer distance education and field placement opportunities for all states and territories that participate in the agreement without prior approval. SARA aims to increase student access to distance education courses and programs while maintaining compliance with member state regulations.
Professional License Disclosures
Out-of-state students interested in a professional license program at Lorain Community College should first contact their home state licensing agency or the professional association. Ohio licensing requirements may not apply in other states.
Student Complaint Information
Lorain County Community College desires to resolve student grievances, complaints and concerns in an expeditious, fair and amicable manner. Students residing outside of the State of Ohio while attending LCCC who desire to resolve a grievance should follow the College’s Student Grievance Procedure. However, if an issue cannot be resolved internally, you may file a complaint with your State. Lorain County Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
