The most in-demand fields in our region require specialized education and training. That’s why LCCC was granted approval from the Ohio Department of Education to deliver applied bachelor’s degrees in our region’s top industries.

LCCC works closely with local employers to develop curriculum in the applied bachelor’s degree programs – meaning students graduate with the skills needed to land rewarding careers right here in Northeast Ohio.

The applied bachelor’s degree programs include Earn and Learn workforce training built into the program, so students get paid, on-the-job experience while completing their degrees.

Bachelor of Applied Science in Microelectronic Manufacturing (MEMS)

The bachelor of applied science in microelectronic manufacturing is an industry-tailored, hands-on program with core content in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and microelectronic manufacturing, design, assembly and prototyping with additional content in quality, electronics and drafting. Building on the associate of applied science in MEMS, the bachelor’s degree program will develop your knowledge in computer science, electronics, soldering, chemistry and mechanics and teaches you to perform work on a microscopic scale.

Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Smart Industrial Automation Systems Engineering Technology

Smart Industrial Automated Systems Engineering Technology represents a multidisciplinary engineering field concerned with the design, modeling, analysis and control of predominantly computer-based automated systems or processes, often referred to as smart manufacturing. Automated systems typically contain a mixture of sensors, equipment, devices, software, hardware and humans and require knowledge of elements of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software programming, networking, security, and human factors engineering.
