The LCCC Covid Task Force is monitoring CDC data for COVID cases in Lorain County with a focus on 7-day total of cases per 100,000.  The CDC has advised that masks should be worn indoors for counties with  substantial  or high  spread.  Substantial spread means at least 50 new cases per 100,000 people in the last seven days, while high transmission is more than 100 cases per 100,000 people over the last week.

As of September 14, CDC data indicates that Lorain County is at 371.49 per 100,000, indicating high spread.
