Health and Wellness Students and Vaccines
LCCC strongly encourages, but does not require, students to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. However, students pursuing health and wellness programs for which clinical experiences will occur in healthcare settings should be aware that vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by local healthcare facilities.
In an environment in which such requirements are still rapidly changing, students should also be aware that clinical site policies are subject to ongoing changes. LCCC, as well as its clinical partners, are not able to change individual student placements without disruption to students’ progress in their program of study.
Health and Wellness students are strongly encouraged to receive vaccination prior to acceptance into their programs in order to fulfill clinical requirements in full.
