Neil Berg’s “50 Years of Rock & Roll, Part 2”
Due to popular demand and the thrilling audience response across the country to Neil Berg’s “50 Years of Rock & Roll” last season, Neil has created and written “50 Years of Rock & Roll Part 2” (1931 to 1981). Now we get to experience all the incredible Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists and songs we didn’t have time to present in the first show. Early rock pioneers like Arthur Crudup and Wynonie Harris, who led to early legends like Fats Domino, Big Joe Turner, The Penguins, Richie Valens, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, as well as superstars from the tumultuous 60’s including The Shirelles, James Brown, The Supremes, Sam Cooke, Dusty Springfield and 1967’s The Summer of Love (The Mamas & The Papas, Grateful Dead, etc.). We then go on to Classic rock/singer/songwriters of The 70’s: Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Taylor, The Allman Brothers, Boston, Styx, Heart, Bob Seger, AC/DC, as well as different songs from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Queen, Motown, and lots more!! Also included will be an incredible tribute to the greatest “One Hit Wonder” rock bands/songs ever written, like “Brandy,” “Come and Get Your Love,” and “Kung Fu Fighting.”
All of the music will be performed by an amazing All Star Rock and Roll Band led by Musical Director/Pianist Jeremy Beck, and some of the finest Rock and Roll/Broadway rock singers ever assembled. Don’t miss this soundtrack of your life. “It will make you feel 18 again!” https://www.neilberg.com/50-years-of-rock-and-roll.php
