Keep the party going and join us for our 2nd Annual Mardi Gras concert brought to Lorain County by the Lorain County Commissioners, Lorain County Community College and Visit Lorain County.

Imagine Mardi Gras beads being tossed into the audience and joyous accordion music celebrating the heritage of Louisiana Creole music and you get a picture of the effusive energy of a Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience concert.

Terrance and his band mates have performed more than 8,500 concerts and toured millions of miles to over 45 countries during their eventful career. They have also been musically featured in films from “The Lucky One” to Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” Terrance Simien creates a hypnotic blend of New Orleans funk-reggae-flavored-world-blues-American Zydeco roots music that beckons you to your feet and into the groove.

You can make a night of it by coming for the seated Creole and Cajun-tasting buffet in Spitzer Conference Center beginning at 5 p.m. VIP tickets that include an artist meet-and-greet are also available. Your whole family will love this jubilant music and the delicious food.

“A Zydeco Master: his voice yearning like Same Cooke, he delivers soul worthy of Stax greats and shows crossover class.” – RollingStone

“You have changed our vocabulary. We now spell joy, Simien. We spell celebration, zydeco.” – Charles Brown, Brown Seed – 100th Year Anniversary
