Vejigante Mask Workshop with Kenneth Melendez

The event will cover the history of Puerto Rican festival mask-making, featuring musician Kenneth Melendez. Guests will paint their own masks. This event requires registration and is limited to 25 participants.

La Borinqueñ Comic Book Presentation

Edgardo Miranda, author of superhero story, La Borinqueña, visits as part of his comic book tour. He will speak on his background, his work with Marvel & DC Comics, how La Borinqueña came to be, how it has impacted Hispanic communities and Puerto Rican culture as a whole, followed by a Q&A. Food will be provided by Manny’s Mobile Catering.
