We understand it’s tough to manage recovery from addiction while earning your education. To help, we offer addiction recovery group meetings, along with opportunities for personal counseling and information about professional recovery resources.
LCCC provides a comprehensive child care and enrichment program at the Children’s Learning Center. Programs are available year-round for toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children up to age 12. Licensed by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, this program meets or exceeds all requirements.

Unexpected financial challenges can make completing your education more difficult. LCCC provides emergency financial assistance in the forms of grants and loans, for traditional and non-traditional students.
Women’s Link provides a listing of houses, apartments and rooms for rent, as well as roommate situations. Some opportunities on the list may be available as month-to-month leasing from private homeowners or renters.
Lorain County Community College provides a welcoming and supportive environment for all students. The LGBTQA+ student body plays an integral role in shaping our diverse community. LCCC encourages education of LGBTQA+ issues and offers resources and advocacy opportunities.

LCCC’s student ride-share program connects student drivers and riders. After the connection is made, then driving arrangements will be made privately between the parties, including schedules and driver compensation.
