Career Services

Career Services offers a wide range of services to help you with career decisions, professional development, securing internships, and your job search. Assistance is available to help you explore career options and make informed decisions taking your criminal record into consideration, as well as how to overcome barriers to employment.


Advisors are available to assist you with navigating through the challenges of higher education. Students and advisors work together to develop proactive strategies to address academic concerns and life challenges.

Women’s Link and Men’s Link

Women’s Link/Men’s Link is a special place on campus where you can obtain free, confidential help with both personal and academic concerns. It offers counseling, crisis intervention, legal services, a housing service, and short term emergency loans for students receiving financial aid.

Caring Advocates for Recovery Education (CARE) Center

The CARE Center is a partnership with Lorain County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services and the Alcohol and Drug and Addiction Services Board of Lorain County. The Center provides programs and support services if you need help dealing with addiction issues or coping with family members who battle addiction. All services are free to the campus community.

Lorain County Re-entry Coalition 

The Lorain County Re-Entry Coalition can connect you to services within the community to assist you. Resources include: healthcare; education, employment and benefits; substance abuse and mental health; food, clothing and housing; and personal and emotional support. (In addition, the Re-Entry Coalition facilitates monthly Citizens Circle meetings to provide additional guidance and assistance for successful re-entry into the community).
