University Partnership Scholarship Opportunities

UP Inspiration Scholarship Award

All 2016-2017 LCCC associate’s degree or University Partnership bachelor’s degree graduates are eligible for  the University Partnership Inspiration Scholarship Award to continue your education in fall of 2017.

This one-time $500 award can be used toward your bachelor’s or master’s degree from one of the 10 University Partnership schools on the LCCC Campus.

Lorain County Community College Foundation University Partnership Biology Scholarship (Bowling Green State University) 3.0 cumulative GPA from all current and previous college work.  Must be enrolled in UP Biology cohort with BGSU.   
Lorain County Community College Foundation Community Foundation of Lorain County John D. Baum University Partnership Scholarship Fund. This award is intended to support Lorain County Community College University Partnership students. Preference will be given to those who meet the following criteria: enrolled as a full-time University Partnership student at LCCC except if in final year and final semester with less than 12 credit hours before completion; students may be taking bachelor program-required courses at LCCC that is part of the fulltime schedule; resides in Lorain County; and demonstrates financial need. Cleveland State University Transfer Student Scholarships

Amounts vary.  Eligibility for based on community college GPA and number of credit hours accepted by CSU.

Western Governor’s University

Transfer Student Scholarship

Valued at $2,500 each, will be applied at the rate of $625 per six-month term, renewable for up to four terms, toward WGU’s already low tuition of about $6,000 per year for most programs. Learn more.

Youngstown State University

Transfer Student Scholarship

$1,000-$1,500.  Transfer to YSU with 24 semester credit hours and a minimum 3.00 GPA.
